Adjust DentaCAD Classic for Ongoing access to Order History
At this point all licensed users must be using the new SmartSales application to create and process orders.
As you finalize your transition from DentaCAD Classic to SmartSales, there is one final, CRITICAL step that you must complete to ensure you still have the ability to access DentaCAD Classic on your device for the viewing of your order history.
To complete this critical step in the transition follow the steps below:
1. Close the DentaCAD Classic application on your device. 2. Click the link: Critical Update to download.
3. Your system may prompt you to allow the download as in the image below. If that is the case click the "More Info" link in the text of the image and in the new window select "Download Anyway"
4. The file (DentaCAD2021ContinuingUseUpdate.exe) will save to your Downloads folder. Double-click on the file to run the updater.
Some organizations disable execution of files located in the downloads folder. If you find this is the case, move this file to your Desktop and double-click on it to run the update.
5. Click the "go" button when the application loads to initiate the update.
6.Once complete click “Close”.
